Being that Kids Choice Awards is the biggest event of the year for Nickelodeon, each year we look for new and innovative marketing strategies that are on-brand, kid-friendly and cutting edge. Below are a few examples of some of the campaigns I’ve developed over the years.
In 2016 we experimented with the creation of 360 Videos in direct partnership with YouTube & Facebook. I pitched covering our live event in 360 at select moments to publish on digital platforms to drive tune-in while the show was still on. Partnered with an external vendor, we shot three major moments that would drive the most traffic: Orange Carpet Arrivals/Interviews, Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth Performing See You Again and the final Blake Shelton Sliming all in 360 Degrees.
The videos published that night were a huge success with over 4 Million Views Night of (organic) from additional promotion from the YouTube platform.
